The Brief/
Suave, sophisticated and certain - this was the concept outlined for a video showcasing men’s beauty range Romano For Men.
The client requested a TV ready video advertisement to market their range.The content needed to display the range of products, whilst maintaining the essence of the man who would be using them. Providing a human aspect to a commercial product.




The Narrative/
The outcome was the perfect blend of candid familiarity with product placement. By focusing on the personification of the Romano man, it allows the audience to attach to the meaning behind the brand in a familiar way.
The use of varying shot distances allowed the products to be foreshadowed and then isolated to find a natural balance in highlighting the product. The result is a product advertisement that feels more like a short character film.
